Dr. SR Aranganathan's 127th Birthday Celebration and 10th Librarian's Day at the National Library of India was held at the Perambalur District Center Library on 13.08.2019. District Library Officer Mr.R.Chandrasekaran (Responsible) presided over the function. Central Library Reader Circle Chairman Dr. Agavi, Former Reader Circle Leaders Dr. Kosiba, Asan Muhammad, Dr. K.Tamilmaran, Vice President of Reader Circle Dr.A.Tamilkumaran, Reader Circle Executives Mr.E.Tahirbhatsa and Mr.S.Vairamani Prof. V. Chandramouli, Government College of Arts, Kurumbalur His life story told in detail about the library and the tasks carried out by nkanatan. Everyone talked empirically about the merits of the library.
Retired District Library Officer from Peramalur District C. Asokan donated Rs. 1000 / - to the Central Library and joined as host.
